As I get more and more involved in this whole 'Hippy' way of living, I am starting to realize how important it is to buy local, in season, fruits and veggies. Going to the Everett Farmers Market is an amazing way for our little family to help support local, organic farmers; we feel like were making a difference and its really fun. They also have a ton of different local vendors for various things. Anyone who knows me knows I absolutely LOVE handmade soap. In my version of Heaven, everyone is a self-sustainable farmer who makes and trades their unique handmade soaps and eats glorious community made farm-to-table 'suppers' every night. Aaaahhhh, Heaven....but I digress.
So, weve started going there on Sundays as a family, we can get enough produce and soap to last all week and get our bread from the Snohomish Bakery's tent as well. Their baguettes and Pomodoro loaves are killer. Its a fun, family activity that, there are always new sites to see and everything is beautiful. The Family Berlin approves.
Cheers.
